Potica, Porketta, Pasties…

Our communities across the Iron Range are a melting pot of ethnic groups that arrived for mining jobs over the past century.  Lucky for us, many of their traditional culinary dishes are still popular today, and visitors have a unique opportunity to try them while they are here.  One of our recent guests sent us  The Taste of Up North article  featured in Home and Away magazine recently, outlining some of these tasty ethnic creations still found in our region.  Yum!
