We are excited to expand the lodging opportunities for our guests through the management of two other unique properties on Minnesota’s Iron Range.

Villa 113 – A slope side, lakeside home at Giants Ridge Resort

For those groups too large for our Farmhouse or Barn Home rentals or for those wishing to be “on the hill”, we are pleased to offer Villa 113 – our slope side & lakefront vacation home that accommodates up to 13 guests.  Enjoy direct access to alpine and Nordic skiing, plus classic northern Minnesota “lake place” living at our spacious home directly within the Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort area. The well-maintained 3-story property includes an open-concept main floor with updated kitchen, dining and lounge area. Cozy furniture, a beautiful 2-story stone fireplace and picturesque views of Wynne Lake invite you to relax and entertain in the great room after a day outside. 2 bedrooms, shared bath and laundry center complete the main floor. A loft bedrooms with 3 twins and private bath overlook the main floor and share the incredible lake views. The lower floor features one private bedroom and bath, a lounge area with queen sofa/sleeper, plus kitchenette with small fridge, sink and coffeemaker. The large cedar sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi tub complete your north woods experience!  Guests are welcomed to use the resort amenities (seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, tennis courts, trails, beaches, docks, and playground) during their stay at our Villa.

Villa 113 overlooks Wynne Lake and sits across from the Chamonix and Helsinki alpine chair lifts.  The winter ski chalet, Legends golf course, restaurants, bars and shopping are approx 1/4 mile north, and the Quarry golf course clubhouse is 1.5 miles to the south.  The Green Gate Guest Houses property is just 3 miles south on the Giants Ridge road.   Guests may also travel “car free” between these properties via bicycle or cross-country skis along the beautiful Mesabi Trail, or via canoe/kayak on the Embarrass River.

*NEW* Villa 202 
– a cozy beachfront, slopeside condo at Giants Ridge Resort

We cherry-picked one of our favorite properties at Giants Ridge, Villa 202, located at the resort area just a few miles up the road from the Green Gate property.  This 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit is perfect for couples or a small family in search of the quintessential northern Minnesota vacation!  This updated unit includes full kitchen, living room with queen sleeper sofa, gas fireplace and lake views, private bedroom with queen bed, and full bath with Jacuzzi tub.  The Giants Ridge alpine lifts are just a short walk out the front door, and the sandy beaches of Wynne Lake are a mere stone’s throw from your back deck.  Our guests are also welcomed to use the outdoor pool, docks, biking and hiking trails during their stay.   As with all the Green Gate Guest Houses, our Villa 202 is fully furnished and includes linens, towels, a well-appointed kitchen,  as well as complimentary soaps, shampoos, coffee, teas, and condiments.

    So do we check in at the Villas or Green Gate in confused. And if we need towels or maintenance where do we go, Villas or Green Gate?

    One of our sons just got engaged and is looking to get married next summer or fall. We live on Lake Vermilion so we are looking at options
    I’ve heard about a barn property near Giants Ridge and can’t seem to find it anywhere. They’re looking for rustic setting. And the new chalet doesn’t seem to fit the bill. Do you offer the barn house and property for weddings? The pictures and property look amazing
    I don’t see weddings anywhere on the website however.
