Welcome to our newest property in the heart of Bavarian-themed Biwabik, MN just 6 miles from Giants Ridge!

Historic feel, modern amenities, and small-town charm- Live like a local in Biwabik! Inspired by the German gasthaus, a local inn providing a gathering place and lodging accommodations, we created the Green Gate Gasthaus in our Bavarian-themed northern Minnesota town. This property sits along Main Street- directly across from our lovely park/pavilion, and within walking distance to local shopping and dining establishments. Fully renovated and modernized, the 1930’s look interior and Bavarian themed exterior give a nod to both the iron-mining boom period of times past and the Bavarian theme of our winter ski village next to Giants Ridge. The Green Gate Gasthaus offers three fully furnished apartments for short term or longer stays, and the soon-to-open Green Bean Coffeehaus.
